Golden State PTAC Announces Name Change to Golden State APEX Accelerator
KERN COUNTY, CA—The Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP), initially managed by the Defense Logis?cs Agency has changed its name to APEX Accelerator. The Golden State Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) will become Golden State APEX Accelerator to align with the program’s name and structural change.
Golden State APEX Accelerator is now managed by the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP), and all 90+ centers across the country are transitioning to APEX Accelerator.
“We’re looking forward to this new chapter as Golden State APEX Accelerator and continuing our mission of helping businesses in Central California achieve their procurement goals and thrive in the government contracting market,” said Angela Watson, director of Golden State APEX Accelerator.
Our services and commitment to supporting small businesses remain the same. We will continue to provide valuable tools and resources to businesses in Kern County, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties looking to enter the government contracting space. From workshops and one-on-one consultations to certification and bid matching support, we help businesses identify government contracting opportunities at the federal, state, and local levels.
Implementation of the new name has begun across digital channels and is anticipated to be completed across digital and print media in the coming months.
