Are you a small business owner who has submitted an SBA certification application – whether 8(a), WOSB, or HUBZone – only for it to be deemed “incomplete”? Meeting basic eligibility requirements is not always enough to ensure certification. During this session, we will walk you through what you can do to help ensure you submit a stronger certification application.

We will cover:

• common misunderstandings and oversights;
• how possible affiliation affects the application;
• the crucial importance of financials and federal tax returns, and
• the invaluable role of using SBA Resource Partners to play “devil’s advocate.”

GovCon Tuesday Trainings are being offered by Golden State PTAC to clients and contacts interested in learning more about the contracting environment and how to position your company to win contracts. While these recorded trainings presented by GovCon Experts typically cost at least $75.00 per person directly through the training platform, our PTAC subscription to Govology.com allows us to provide them at no cost to attendees. PTAC Counselors will be hosting each training, and will be able to provide answers to your questions during and after each session.
